Let’s dive deeper into the possibilities of the New Google Sites, or should I say GSuite Sites… I’m still adjusting.
After the last video in which I gave a quick overview of some key features for Educators and students, I’m exploring some of the other functionality today. These include things such as Embedding a complete drive Folder and choosing the best looking display option, embedding a YouTube video either ‘unlisted’ (non-searchable) or a publicly available video on YouTube.
I will walk you through the procedure to create ‘Nested Pages’ (These are pages underneath other pages, similar to what you would see on most website menu’s) and I have a look at what you can do with calendars and maps in the new Sites.
I expect a lot more functionality rolling out soon as they continue to develop this product, but already it is looking like a very powerful tool for education!
